Appstore price points: either $0.99 or $4.99 seem to be the sweet spots

By on July 10, 2009

PocketGamer has crunched some numbers on the AppStore, and have some fascinating results.

They took the top 100 games in the US chart, and looked at price point, game brands and more. They show, for example, that in the top 100, 36 games are priced at $0.99, but the next largest group is twenty titles priced at $4.99.

I think their analysis is worth checking out.
