ImageMetrics raises $6.5 million despite the credit crunch

Facial animation middleware provider ImageMetrics has closed a $6.5 million funding round led by Saffron Hill Ventures, according to TechCrunch.

Great new for the guys, but also good news for people who want to see the cost of high-quality facial animation come down.
