More thoughts on why to raise VC (or why not to)

Following my posts this week on Four reasons why VCs won’t fund games companies and Seed, Series A, Series B: Why the wrong funding can kill your company, I’ve just come another excellent post which I urge you to read.

I’ve known Will Reeve, founder of Lovefilm and investor in Graze and Zoopla, for many years (probably more years than either of us care to remember). He’s been invested in (by DFJ Esprit, Balderton, Index and Arts Alliance – an amazing roster), been an investor and currently works closely with DFJ Esprit.

In other words, he knows what he’s talking about. So when he says “VC funding isn’t right for most businesses” and then helps you understand when it is right, I urge you to listen.
