Blimey Games phoenixes as Slightly Mad Studios

By on January 13, 2009

Racing game developer Blimey! Games, has emerged from the ashes of 10Tacle Games as Slightly Mad Studios.

CEO of Blimey! Games Ian Bell, who previously founded Simbin Games, has concluded a deal with administrators David Rubin & Partners to save the business as a going concern.

Blimey! was able to continue as a going concern until last Friday, when it became clear that the company was insolvent. The sale of the assets and business was concluded in a few days, which should give Slightly Mad a fighting chance to retain the jobs of all staff and pay their creditors.

Against the odds, Blimey! Games is not going into the GameOverZone.
