“Don’t just buy a new video game, make one!” says Obama

By on December 10, 2013

It’s not often that one of the most powerful people in the world encourages young people to make videogames.

That’s exactly what President Obama did this week as he exhorted young Americans to learn to code, to make video games, to design apps, to program their phone.

It’s marvellous to hear a head of state encouraging people to become makers, not just consumers. Long may it continue.
