New business model: sell 7 foot high, self-adhesive graphics of your characters

By on May 12, 2010

I love this.

Not content with having 15 million registered users and making parents the world over despair as their children demand more subscription money so they can continue to buy virtual pets for their virtual pets (yes, really), Moshi Monsters wants to take over their customer’s bedrooms.

You can now buy 7’ tall wall graphics of Moshi’s most popular monsters to hang anywhere.

What a great idea.

With prices ranging from $14.95 to $149.95, it’s an interesting new revenue stream. My guess is that Moshi’s partner, LTL Prints, is taking most of the risk and for Moshi, it’s another way of capitalising on the success of their product.

Well done to them for exploring new merchandising opportunities.

And if you want have to have one, just check out www.ltlprints.com/MoshiMonsters
