Eidos parts company with the remnants of Morpheme

By on February 11, 2009

Eidos has parted company with Gimme5Games, the remnants of Morpheme, the mobile and casual games studio run Matt Spall they acquired in April 2007.

The transaction, following the closure of Rockpool (acquired in February 2007), means that Eidos is rapidly exiting its entire mobile/casual business.

Which makes sense, given their stated intention of focusing on key brands such as Tomb Raider and Hitman under a studio-led model.
