Oxygen to cease internal development

By on January 6, 2009

MCV reports that Oxygen Games is to cease internal development. The publisher of titles such as Cheggers’ Party Quiz and My Dress-Up is seeking a buyer for its London studio.

The studio was formed in 2007 to work on DS and Wii titles. According to MCV, Oxygen called its decision ‘a move back to a more traditional publisher model using external development teams only.’

In this environment, finding a buyer for a 14 person Nintendo developer seems unlikely. Oxygen Studios is moving to the GameOverZone.
