Free to Play Summit

By on August 9, 2012

Nicholas will be speaking at the Free to Play Summit next month, on 26th September at Rich Mix in London. Boss Alien’s Jason Avent has promised to reveal CSR racing’s success, so I’m looking forward to hearing about some exciting data coming out of the event to add to the spreadsheet pages. Nicholas has said:

“Free-to-play is now widely accepted as a business model, but it is in its infancy. There is still so much to explore as we learn how to make great, deep, involving games using these new mechanics. My talk will focus on helping professionals from AAA development and newcomers adapt to free-to-play, and I look forward to getting new ideas from the other excellent speakers.”

You can find out about other events at which Nicholas is speaking on our upcoming events page.

About Zoya Street

I’m responsible for all written content on the site. As a freelance journalist and historian, I write widely on how game design and development have changed in the past, how they will change in the future, and how that relates to society and culture as a whole. I’m working on a crowdfunded book about the Dreamcast, in which I treat three of the game-worlds it hosted as historical places. I also write at Pocketgamer.biz and The Borderhouse.
